The first Bexley Home Brew Festival took place in 2001 in a Scout hut just down the road in Albany Park, where we raised £80 for the Scouts. After a few years in the Boys and Girls Hall on Bourne Road we moved to our present home at the Freemantle in the heart of the village. The event has gradually increased in size and this has enabled us to acquire perennial trophies and raise significant sums for charity
